This book was ok, but it failed to grip me the way I thought it would. I felt it had so much potential, but somehow still managed to leave me disappointed.

in my opinion Griffin was a very dry character with no appeal what-so-ever. The more I saw her being drawn to Griffin the more I wanted to put the book down and quit reading, but once I start a book I commit to seeing it to the end.

At one point I felt I had to force myself through the rest of the book so I could move on to a different one. In all fairness, I feel I would have enjoyed the book more if I were in middle school,

however I still would have been disappointed with the ending and her falling in love with the most vanilla character in the entire book. I think it would have been better if I could feel something for them as a couple (as I'm very drawn to the romance aspect in books), but he lacked that certain depth, and failed to keep me interested.
